(1) Within 30 days from the date on which the judgment given with respect to the minutes establishing the minor offence has become final or the time limit for challenging the minutes establishing the minor offence has expired, as applicable, the sums representing the equivalent of the unpaid fines may be withheld from the monthly tranches to be paid as public financing, by applying accordingly the procedure of enforcement by attachment of bank accounts, provided for in Government Ordinance No. 92/2003 on the Fiscal Procedure Code, as republished, with subsequent amendments and supplements.

(2) The Ministry of Public Finance, through its empowered bodies, shall inform the Permanent Electoral Authority of non-payment within the period provided for in paragraph (1), of the fines applied by the Permanent Electoral Authority.
