(1) A Member of the Folketing will accrue DKK 27,105 for each full year of membership, subject to a maximum of six years for each membership term, for recovery of training related costs. For a Member who is granted leave for other reasons than those stated in section 109(8)-(10), accrual of the amount will cease when the Member has been on leave for 60 days, and will resume when the leave ends.

(2) Amounts accrued under subsection (1) may be used to cover training-related expenses in the membership term of accrual and in any post-service remuneration period based on the same membership term, but see subsections (3) and (4).

(3) A Member who is granted leave cannot have their training-related expenses covered during the leave period.

(4) A former Member who, during their post-service remuneration period, joins the Folketing again as a temporary member may still, during their temporary membership, use amounts that have accrued under subsection (1) during the membership term on which the post-service remuneration period is based. After the end of the temporary membership, the Member may use any amounts accrued during the temporary membership as well as any unspent amounts accrued during the membership term on which the post-service remuneration period is based, see the first sentence, until the end of the Member's post-service remuneration periods.

(5) Recovery of training-related costs shall be subject to approval by the Speaker of the Folketing.

(6) Amounts accrued and used to cover training-related costs shall not be included in the taxable income.

(7) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) is stated in October 2015 figures and shall be adjusted in accordance with the rules in the third to fifth sentences of section 109a(12).

(8) The Standing Order Committee will lay down detailed rules on recovery of trainingrelated costs.
