Section 46
 

(1) Unless the offence carries a higher penalty according to other legislation, any person violating the following sections is punishable by a fine or detention for a term of not more than four months


(i) section 11c,


(ii) section 25(1), see section 51, of the Folketing (Parliamentary) Elections Act, or


(iii) section 26(1), see section 62, of the Folketing (Parliamentary) Elections Act.


(2) Legal entities may be subject to punishment under the rules of Part 5 of the Danish Criminal Code (straffeloven) for violation of section 11c, section 25(1), read with section 51(2) of the Folketing (Parliamentary Elections Act, and section 26(1), read with section 62(2) of the Folketing (Parliamentary) Elections Act.


(3) Punishment by a fine for violation of the provisions of the rules may be laid down in rules
issued in pursuance of the law.


(4) Sections 116 and 117 of the Criminal Code equally apply to elections to the European
Parliament.
