(1) In Denmark advance voting can take place from the Tuesday three weeks prior to election day, however, not later than on the Friday preceding election day. Advance voting may, however, take place at the designated place or places in the municipality where any voter can vote in advance from the Tuesday six weeks prior to election day.

(2) The local council shall arrange for at least one of the venues in the municipality where voters can vote in advance, cf. section 59, to stay open at least from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the last day for advance voting.
