(1) A member who retires on account of temporary relocation out of the municipality or the region, respectively, may re-enter the local council or the regional council, respectively, when returning as permanently resident of the municipality or the region, respectively, and provided he does so within six months of relocation.

(2) If a member wishes to re-enter according to the rules of subsection (1), he shall notify the local council or the regional council, respectively, accordingly before his or her temporary relocation.
