As for Peru, the Commission notes that the possible unlawful application of the law by ONPE and RENIEC in most cases can be remedied by the election dispute resolution mechanism (the JNE). Potential disciplinary offences are already under the jurisdiction of the JNJ and criminal offences under the jurisdiction of the Public Prosecutor's Office (see above).
