The competence of the constitutional court to annul elections can be regulated either in the Constitution or in an Electoral Code applicable to all elections, in an election law regulating certain types of elections (e.g. presidential elections) only, or in the law on the constitutional court. It can be regulated explicitly or implicitly; it may be regulated in detail or with open clauses.
