In order to be certified for the elections for all bodies of authority at all levels in BiH, an independent candidate or a candidate on a political party, list of independent candidates or a coalition’s candidates list shall meet the following requirements:
the candidate must be recorded in the Central Voters Register in the municipality in which he or she is standing for office or in the municipality found within the boundaries of the constituency if he or she is standing for office at the higher levels of authority, no later than by the day when the elections are announced; and
the candidate may only run for office in one constituency at any level of authority and may appear only on one political party, coalition or list of independent candidates.
the candidate has submitted to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina a proof that he/she has had his/her status settled if he/she performs any of the functions referred to in Article 1.8, paragraph (1) of this Law.
