When polling hours end (section 47), this is announced by the Electoral Officer. Thereafter,  only persons eligible to vote who had presented themselves before the end of polling  hours and are inside the polling station or in front of it due to space constraints will be  permitted to cast their votes. Any persons arriving after the end of polling hours are not to be granted access to voting. When the voters who had arrived before the end of polling  hours have cast their votes, the Electoral Officer declares the poll closed.
