Paragraph 13

The grounds for declaring a political party unconstitutional are set out in Article 41(4) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, which provides that “[p]arties and other socio-political organisations, whose objectives or activities are the engagement in fighting against political pluralism, the principles of the rule of law, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova are declared unconstitutional.” According to Article 135(1)(h), the Constitutional Court decides over matters dealing with the constitutionality of a party.
