In Ukraine provisions on early elections are included in the Constitution and in the law “On the election of People’s deputies of Ukraine” (CDL-EL(2005)021). It is important to note that the law on the elections of deputies was adopted before the last constitutional changes. As a consequence, there could be some problems in implementing some of the constitutional provisions through the existing law.
