The powers in Articles 6.7 and 6.10 are not limited to a violation that threatens peace and security or the integrity of the election processes, but apply generally to any violation of the law. This allows room for potential abuse and disproportionate punishment. It is recommended that candidate/party registration revocation be limited to cases where legal requirements for candidacy are not fulfilled. Articles 6.7 and 6.10 should be amended accordingly.
