• 1. The chairperson, deputy chairperson, and the other members of the main polling station, as well as three deputy members, are appointed by the mayor and aldermen in a timely manner before each election.
• 2. A person who has reached the age of eighteen on the day of the election may be appointed as a member or deputy member of the main polling station, with the exception of those:
o a. who have been deprived of the right to vote by a final court decision on the day of nomination;
o b. who are a member or deputy member of the polling station, municipal polling station, or central polling station for the relevant election;
o c. who, as a member of a main polling station at a previous election, has acted or failed to act in violation of the provisions of or pursuant to this Act;
o d. who has stood as a candidate for the relevant election;
o e. who is an elected member of the representative body for which the election is being held.
• 3. Article E 4, third paragraph, applies mutatis mutandis.
