• 1. The central electoral committee shall check the voting results generated by the software using a control protocol to be drawn up by the Electoral Council. If the central electoral committee concludes that the software has not functioned reliably and the defect cannot be remedied after investigation, it will disregard the outcome generated by the software. If the election concerns the election of members of the municipal council, the provincial council, or the general board, the central electoral committee will immediately notify the Electoral Council of this decision.
• 2. The Electoral Council shall publish the audit protocol referred to in the first paragraph for an election in the Government Gazette no later than the day of the nomination.
