• 1. By way of exception to Article H 10, paragraph 1, first sentence, a candidate may choose not to appoint a representative in his or her declaration of consent.

• 2. If a candidate does not appoint a proxy, they shall indicate on the declaration of consent referred to in Article H 9, paragraph 1, that they agree to receive notification of their appointment via an electronic data processing system in which the addressee has access to the message using a publicly issued authentication device.
