• 1. When a member of the House of Representatives or the Senate is appointed to an office as referred to in Article 57, paragraph 2, of the Constitution, their membership of the House ceases automatically.
• 2. When a member of the House of Representatives or the Senate finds themselves in one of the situations referred to in the first paragraph of Article X 1, other than on the basis of the preceding paragraph, they shall notify the House of this, stating the reasons.
• 3. If the notification has not been given and the President of the House is of the opinion that a member of the House finds themselves in one of the situations referred to in the first paragraph of Article X 1, they shall warn the person concerned in writing.
• 4. The Provincial Executive is free to submit the matter to the Chamber's judgment no later than the eighth day after the date of the warning referred to in the third paragraph.
