• 1. When a Member of the European Parliament finds themselves in one of the situations referred to in Article Y 28, they shall notify the President of the House of Representatives thereof, stating the reasons.

• 2.  If notification has not been given and the President of the House of Representatives is of the opinion that a Member of the European Parliament is in one of the situations referred to in Article Y 28, he shall warn the person concerned in writing.

• 3.  The person concerned is free to submit the matter to the House of Representatives' consideration no later than the eighth day after the date of the warning referred to in the second paragraph.
