The provisions established by or pursuant to this Act regarding the election of members of the municipal councils, regarding the commencement of and changes in membership of the municipal council, and regarding the termination of membership and temporary replacement as a member, apply mutatis mutandis to the Island Councils, unless this section provides otherwise.
